Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was absolutely delightful. The rooms had a wonderful trapper cabin feel that was charming, despite being somewhat small and twisty. The service was top-notch with incredibly friendly and helpful staff, especially Frida who went out of the way to assist me. The location was super central, perfect for exploring the city, and the dining experience offered a delicious selection despite a minor hiccup with the waffle maker. Overall, a cozy and welcoming hotel with a few minor areas for improvement.
What a gem! This hotel is situated right in the heart of downtown Longyearbyen, where you can easily reach all the excellent restaurants, pubs, and shops. The rooms are cozy and unique, offering big, comfortable beds and private bathrooms. The service is top-notch, with staff who are nice, friendly, and always ready to help. While the dining options are good, there could be more variety in the breakfast offerings.
I felt like a real Arctic explorer staying at this hotel, surrounded by polar artifacts. The rooms were a bit cold at times, but it added to the authentic Arctic experience. The service was exceptional with fast assistance and great recommendations. The prime location right in the heart of Longyearbyen made me feel like I was a part of the town, though the noise from the ventilation room was bothersome. The dining selection was well-stocked but not extensive. The hotel facilities were accommodating, though a bit noisy due to the ventilation room.
